HOW WE MET
 Tim worked in the Office Depot located in Stuart, FL. We got to talking about IRCC (the local college we both attended), New York, and Stuart. It seemed hopeless for the two of us when I tried to call him, and he was always at work; consequently, Tim assumed I never tried to contact him. For months I would go into Office Depot for different necessities, but I never saw him in the store. Then on December 4, 1998 -- I'm sure God stepped in -- we met once again in the same place. We became very good friends and went on our first date January 15, 1999, and the rest, as they say, is history... OUR ENGAGEMENT
 Tim came to visit me in Tallahassee during a four-day weekend. What I had assumed would be a nice and relaxing couple of days became the most incredible and exciting weekend of my life.
Tim had called his parents to let them in on the big secret the day he left Colorado. He asked them to come to Tallahassee to share in the special moment. Of course, oblivious to what was going on, when he told me his parents may come to visit him I was pleased to get the chance to see them once again. When they arrived the four of us got all dressed up and went to "Chez Pierre", a beautiful French restaurant located in the heart of Tallahassee.
As soon as we were seated Tim asked me to step outside for a moment. He took me over to the center of the gardens and said, "Julie, you know that I love you. This is the real reason my parents came up this weekend." He opened his hand to reveal the gorgeous diamond ring he had been hiding while asking,
"Will you marry me?"  OUR WEDDING
