THE HISTORY OF RON JR (THE CLIFF NOTES)

I began life in early 1978, while my father served in the Navy at the New London Naval Submarine Base, in Groton, Connecticut. We lived there until 1982, then moving on to Stuart, Florida where Tim and I spent our adolescent years growing up. I later chose to attend South Fork High School vice Martin County High School. During my time at South Fork, I played Freshman football, JV Golf, three years of Cross Country Running, and four years of Varsity Soccer.

After graduation, I spent the summer in Stuart, then moved with two friends to Boynton Beach, where we had an apartment, and attended Palm Beach Community College. After only one semester I moved back to Stuart, and began school at Indian River Community College and employment at St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant.

In early '98, I packed up and left for Berlin, Germany, where I hoped to pursue a career in soccer. Due to several factors, I had to return stateside and returned to work at the power plant. At the same time, my relationship with Dawn was rekindled and began to get serious.

While working at the plant, it became clear the my chances to play soccer professionally were diminishing greatly, and I wanted to start my life with Dawn. Dawn and I decided to get married, and on October 30th, of 1999, we wed. Two days later, I entered in to military service, having joined the Navy, and departed to Great Lakes for boot camp. Then on the 17th of April, 2001, while stationed in Charleston, South Carolina, I became the proud father of Jillian Rebekah. Three months later we purchased a house and moved to Kings Bay, Georgia, where I am now stationed aboard the USS Maryland SSBN 738 (Blue).  Some fifteen months later, on the  21st of November, 2002, I again became a proud father of Haley Madison.  Our third child, Brianne Elizabeth, arrived while I was out to sea on the 4th of June, 2004.

We are now living in Stuart, FL and have recently welcomed our newest member of the family Rachel Michele Pennenga.
